American College of Board Certified Attorneys has information on board certification and a national directory of board certified lawyers.
Pursuant to NC Rule 7.4, North Carolina lawyers who are certified by ABA accredited organizations may advertise their certification in the same way as lawyers who are certified by the NC State Bar.
The ABA Standing Committee on Specialization - The American Bar Association (ABA) accredits national organizations that certify lawyers throughout the country as specialists. On the ABA website, you can find links to the websites for these national organizations and information about specialization programs in other states.
